Separate the desk from the person behind it

A front desk is two things bolted together: a place where things happen, check-in, forms, payments, documents, and a person who makes them happen. The cost, the turnover, and the coverage gaps all come from insisting those two things occupy the same chair.

HiBridge separates them. The place stays where it is: a screen, a camera, and the peripherals at your counter. The person can be anywhere, working live, covering more than one lobby at a time.

Nothing about the visitor’s experience gets colder in the process. They still talk to a real human being, by name, until their question is handled.

A lot of the market sells receptionist labour by the minute. HiBridge sells the front desk system, and the staffing model is a separate decision you make on top of it.

That matters because it means you can put your own people on it, a central team covering all your locations from one room, or staff it with a remote receptionist sourced through us, or move between the two as you grow. The technology does not change either way.

What exactly is HiBridge?

HiBridge is a virtual front desk platform: the kiosk software a visitor uses to check themselves in, the live video reception layer that puts a real person on the screen, the payment, printing and scanning peripherals at the desk, and the portal a receptionist works from. Is HiBridge a receptionist staffing service?

The platform is the product. Some customers staff it with their own team from a central location; others staff it with a remote receptionist sourced through HiBridge. Both run on the same technology, and we will be explicit about which one we are quoting you.

Is the person on screen a real human or AI?

A real human, working live. There is no phone tree, no chatbot, and no recorded avatar standing in for a person.

Does it replace our phone system or our EMR?

No. It sits at the front desk. Where a receptionist needs to work inside your scheduling system or EMR, that happens through the access you grant them, at Rose City Physical Therapy the virtual receptionist handles scheduling, intake, scanning, and EMR updates directly.
